First I want you to meet my family. My amazing husband Jody, makes it possible for me to do what I love to do. My children are fabulous, Autumn, Savannah & J, They have given me purpose and encourage me on my journey!
I an internationally recognized photographer from the United States, but living in the beautiful country of Scotland.
My Grandmother was a photographer for a portrait studio in Atlanta, GA.
I don’t really remember her taking my picture, but I do love having the pictures that she took of us. I guess it was her that inspired me in loving photography.
As a teenager I worked for my best friends dad at his photolab. New Tech Photo in Newnan, GA. He taught me how to develop the film and my main job was proofing pictures. Even though I didn’t work there very long, I learned so much and enjoy the time there and it created in me a desire to be a photographer.
I bought my first camera while working at New Tech and honestly, I didn’t realize the impression that time in my life made on me. I began taking pictures here and there with my little camera, the love for photography grew in my heart.
As my grandmother got older I helped with her care and when she passed, I knew I needed something meaningful that would keep her close in my heart. With the help of my husband and a bit of money I had from my grandmother, I bought my first DSLR camera.
My goals are to just have fun, to enjoy the people I am privileged to meet along the way. I hope you will give me the opportunity.
