“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
We know that we are living in the last days. We can see very clearly that Christ will soon appear. The Bible tells us that it will happen in a moment in the twinkling of an eye. We don’t know when it will happen..
But let’s just think..
What if we had the opportunity to prepare for the very moment Christ returns?
WHAT IF.. we had to prepare ourselves to stand before The Lord the very moment He returns?
What would you say? How would you dress? Could you go to your closet, or would you have a hard time finding something appropriate for Him?
WHAT IF.. You had to sing a song, just for Him? What type of music would you use? What would you sing?
WHAT IF.. You had to give The Lord a gift? What would it be?
The bible tells us that one day we will stand before The Lord and we will sing praises to His name and we will cast crowns at His feet.
There is no reason to wait until we are in heaven with our Saviour to dress appropriate for Him, to sing His Praises and to worship to godly music, now is the time to earn those crowns.
He is ever present and although we cannot see Him, He sees us and we should be living every moment as if He is about to appear. We should dress in a way that we would not be ashamed at His coming. The music we fill our heart and soul with should
bring honor and glory to the Saviour.
What is in your life right now that you would be ashamed of? Is there an attitude you carry or an article of clothing you wear, is there music you listen to, or movies you watch that you would be ashamed of when you meet Christ ?
We must get back to the realization that Christ is going to return and He does see all that we do!
Every child of God will be ashamed at His coming, there are none that have done enough.. But..
Will Christ delight in you at His coming?
